Weekend News
Zoey - I go to Aunty Niesha. My mommy and daddy drive. I stay there and I go home with my mommy and daddy. It was really cool and really fun me and Daddy go to egg hunt. I got a whole bucket and purple one with candy when I open inside. I got 1,2,3,4,5 and a ball that really bouncy and chocolate inside. It was bouncy I throw it at home it keep bouncing but I can't find it. Daddy tried but can't. I really sad.
Willow - I puppy sit a puppy name Hugo. I gave it early morning walk. I gave him an early morning walk and it was nice. I can't remember the other stuff.
Julian - I know where I went to mom-mom and dad-dad's house to Violet's birthday. Ivylynn came and her mommy. I go on two airplanes and that's it
Lydia - Play with my mommy and play with nothing. Go to the unicorn house that had unicorns in it. They walk to me and they were nice. Play with the green things.
Grant - It was Easter and I saw a scorpion at the spider exhibit. I play my puffin lovey. I play with my brother. I go the zoo for Easter egg hunt.
James M. - I went the Easter party and the Phillies. I went to the Phillies game on Saturday. The Phillies won on Saturday. Jason Kelce and the other guy Fletcher Cox throughout the first pitch. I watch the game that the Phillies won against the Braves 5 to 4.
Olivia - I did egg hunt with my cousins. I did egg hunt with my mommy and daddy. I don't know what else.
Ekin - I only know when dad gave me that surprise cupcake and that was for my half birthday, April 1st. I did Easter egg hunt at home. I already open the surprise and it was candy and stickers.
Ada - I go to my grandma's house for Easter. I go on egg hunt with my cousins. My grandma and Grandpa came to my house cause mommy and daddy was on vacation.
Surai - I went to the nailery to get my nails and my feet done. I went to the supermarket and then I went home with my baby brother.
Addy - I had Easter hunt. Then I got gems from the Easter hunt. They in white bags. I got to open my presents. They had all the stuff I told mom to buy for me.
Jackson - I read a book during the night and there's a lot of stuff. I went to the museum and legoLand. My mom and dad were at Texas and I was with my Gee-Gee.
Ellery - I went to Easter egg hunt. We go on trail. We read books.
Shanaya - I go New York City and go to the movies. I go the movies again. I go back home and play. I watch tv and go to bed and that's all.
Cooper - I went to grandma and grandpa's house and I went to Gee and G-ma's. I went to Pat's house and I went to grandma and grandpa's house again. I built some Legos. I had a busy day and I saw Ghostbusters.
James V. - I did a Easter egg hunt and I saw the Easter bunny. I got some bubbles and candy. I eat one candy and it was gummys.

The Cardinals worked on drawing with lines to create art in class with Johanna. We began by looking at pictures of animals and identifying the animals we saw and how each animals was designed. We learn that this kind of art is call Amiriginal art. Friends then got a chance to follow the lines and traced around the lines to begin to learn how to create. Each Cardinal was then given a black piece of paper and white chalk to trace their hands. Followed by using a q-tip, red and yellow paint to design their very own Amiriginal art. Friends choose if they wanted to use the original colors or if to mix the colors. Ask your Cardinal what did you like about art class.
Wednesday
The Cardinals working on the month of April individual self-portraits.
Music class began with Ekin leading us in the music room. After warming up to the song Get You Body Moving by Koo Koo Kangaroo. We then sang and did the movements to the song Peace Like River as Keisha played her guitar. Followed by Here is a Bunny in which the Cardinals sang all by themselves. A friend then asked if we could do the bunny song in silence and only do the movements. The Cardinals did a fantastic job!! Keisha gave the Cardinal two rounds of applause and told friends how proud she was of them. John the Rabbit and If You Plant a Seed, were two more songs that we did movement to as we sang! Ask your Cardinal to sing and show you the movements to these songs?

Thursday
Our Spanish project of (Personas) are now up on display near our classroom (across from Kindergarten). Come take a closer look!!
Today we began our work of designing the outside of our animal habitats. Friends choose paint, pictures and sand to create. This work will continued tomorrow as not all friends got to designed their habitat today. Stay Tuned!!
