Weekend News
James V. - I got a new set up for my phone. I had a really good weekend. Nana and Frank come to my house and we play.
Zoey - I play mommy and daddy and my toys. I had snack time. Daddy at store.
Willow - I play with my sister. I watch tv. I had fun with my parents. We play with playdough.
Julian - I go the gym and then I go to bookstore cause we had to wait for table. I got some books and then we go to bunch. I got some waffles.
Lydia - I play with my mommy and daddy and baby Birdie. I play with my cat.
Grant - I go in car with dad and Jackson and Kenendy. I play with toys.
James M. - I play at my house. I play baseball with my new baseball T.
Olivia - I play with mommy and I go donut place.
Ekin - I went to Target to buy a bad Kitty book. I got the book called Kitty camp daze. I play with my driven toys at my house.
Ada - I go to a birthday party. It was two people's birthday. I play in the snow with mommy. I read books with my brother and mommy. I play in my playroom.
Surai - I go hotel and mommy got award. I had good time and I eat bagel.
Addy - Mommy came back from school. I went to the trampoline park. I eat water ice at trampoline park.
Jackson - I build some legos. Then in the afternoon, I went to Costco. Then I went home and watched Frozen two after Costco.
Ellery - I play outside. I read books mommy.
Shanaya - I went somewhere and I play in the bouncy house. I play with my little cousins and my big cousins. We ate pizza and then we go on the bumper cars. We went on the car ride that goes up and down. Then I went back in the bouncy house.
Cooper - I set up a giant tent in my house and me and my mom and my dad and Lydia went in. We hide Easter eggs and we find them. We watch a show.
After our routine Spanish work, Alicia told us that on Thursday. We will meet with our second grade buddies to work on dressing our personas in the clothing we have been learning about! Alicia then handed out bingo sheets of the clothing we have been learning about. Many friends were very excited to play bingo! It was very impressive to hear friends encouraging each other when their bingo board did not have an article of clothing that was called!! Great work Cardinals!! In the end we all got BINGO!! Today it was Grant's turn to squeezed la vaca!
In gym class the Cardinals worked on focus and listening skills with hula hoops. Josh gave the Cardinals many ideas to try with their hoop. Friends rolled their hoops and put their arms through it. Some friends rolled their hoop and ran after it. Many Cardinals jumped in their hoop with their whole body! Ask your Cardinal how many times they jumped in their hoop?
Tuesday
Johanna talked to the Cardinals about the animals they are studying. Friends then matched parts of animals pictures to complete a picture. Followed by Johanna talking to friends about texture, how things feel and look. Then friends were introduced to different types of texture materials to create an animal. Ask your Cardinal what animal they created?
The Cardinals kept asking about going outside early this morning and so after art class, snack time and reading books. We headed off to the soccer field. Along the way, we stopped and got a bag of balls from the gym! Friends enjoy running, a game of tag, digging in dirt and throwing and catching balls. A friend said, "When I run the air is moving my hair." Ask your Cardinal what did you liked doing on the field?
Wednesday
On yet another warm weather day, we ran and played on the field before working as a group with our big parachute.
We also had a picnic lunch outside.
Thursday
In Spanish class the Cardinals continued to work on their person/persona. The Cardinals have been learning the Spanish names for some articles of clothing over the past few months. Today, friends met with their second grade buddies to work on a Spanish project. The Cardinals decided how they wanted to dress their Persona and choose their clothing articles. With the Cardinals second grade buddies help, the Cardinals traced, cut, designed and glued their designed wardrobe onto their Persona. Great work friends! Ask your Cardinal what kind of clothing they dressed their Persona in?
What a great day to have rest time outside!!
