Weekend News
James M. - I play skee ball. So, I made these magna-tile bins and also I used ball bit balls. I used a lot of different colors almost the whole rainbow. There were no purple balls and I got a new Canada J stuffy, one that makes noise.
Olivia - I play with my mommy. I play with my baby dolls and play with Bluey. I play with Peppa and Mommy did yard work. I didn't help her.
Ekin - I went to Owen's house and I brought a new Magna-tiles with car pieces. I had no car pieces and those were my first two and I brought them on Sunday.
Ada - I swam in my grandma's pool. I went to a parade. I went to the arboretum. I had my babysitter come over.
Surai - I went to my mommy dance show and I went to a Safari. I saw a giraffe that's Willow's study. I saw a mommy one, a baby one and a sister one.
Addy - Mommy went to the supermarket. I stay at home and draw pictures and I ate strawberries.
Jackson - I got a hair cut and Jaylen got me sick.
Ellery - I go down the trail, play at home with magna tiles. I read books.
Shanaya - I go to a hotel and then I went home for last day. I got little kitty cat headphones and my brother got headphones also. I also watched my I-pad while I was using my kitty cat headphones.
Cooper - I go to Courtney's house and I saw Matilda, Vivvy, Thea and Quinny. I went with my sister and my mom and my dad and me. And I stay there for a long time and we play hide and seek and watch Bluey. We tried to find the wrong dog.
James V. - I made me and my mommy and daddy and my family have the best day.
Zoey - I go to store. The chips store it was raining so hard. Then mommy and me run in rain to try get in car then we drive away. Mommy and me play with butter my dog. My mommy sing Christmas songs. My mommy drop daddy off.
Willow - Well, the day before yesterday, I had fun at my cousins house and had ice cream sundaes. And the day before that, our aunt came over and slept over.
Julian - I play with my brother and I mowed the grass because I have lawnmower. I play with my brother again. We play inside.
Lydia - I play with my mom and dad once I came back from school. I ate dinner once I ate all my pizza I ate my dessert.
Grant - I played with my brother and I go in my room. And I go downstairs and watch tv and sleep in my room.
Johanna told the Cardinals they were going to draw in class, not on paper but on a piece of canvas fabric. She explained that this is what artists do by creating art with and on a variety of different materials. Friends got to create any creation they wanted. Each friend drew using materials such as markers, pencils and different size ribbons to create their very own collage. Ask your Cardinal how did you created your collage?

Wednesday
James V. and his mom Veronica wrote a book about James's buddy Meep! Today Veronica and James read the book to our class. All year, friends have acted out Meep shows and even learned how to do the Meep dance! Thank you, Veronica and Joshua for reading to us! Thank you, James, for sharing your mom and dad with us!
After snack and Morning meeting the Cardinals headed off to Music rehearsal for our Spring Program which is on June 7th at 10:45am. We practice with the Catbirds class and then by ourselves. The Cardinals are sounding and looking awesome!!Thursday
After our morning Spanish work, Alicia read us a book about being kind and respectful to everyone. She then asked the Cardinals to name some ways that we all can be kind and respectful to each other. Here are some of the words friends use: hold hands, help friends, if they're sad give hugs, use kind words, play together, share toys and smile and be happy! Alicia also combined the animals that each of the Cardinals are studying into coloring books for each Cardinal! Today it was Julian's turn to squeezed la vaca!

Friday
The Cardinals had choice time outside. Friends built with magna-tiles, flew paper airplanes to see how far they could go, many rounds of duck duck goose and red light-green light 123!
Yesterday, we dyed our t-shirts for the Spring Program. They were washed, brought back to school and today we decorated them.The paint brushes tickle a little for some and so the wiggles and giggles started!! Here they are drying!

The Cardinals had fun experiencing the Farm Truck Exploration. Friends used their senses as they got to touch or smell plants, heard about how fruits and vegetables grow and how they keep us healthy. Then we got to see how our smoothie was blended by pedaling a bicycle and finally, we got to taste a blueberry, bananas, spinach and oat milk smoothie. Yummy yummy!!
