Weekend News

Olivia - We got donuts when we go shopping. Me and daddy go shopping. I play inside with my baby dolls and Bluey.

Ekin - I went to the Phillies game on June first. I ate ice cream and I see Harper hit a home run. I saw the bell ring and I got a double decker London bus.

Ada - I went to the car wash with my dad and my mom and brother got me a new booster seat for the car. I ride my bike. I clean my bike and my dad clean his car. I build a bunk bed out of a table.

Surai - I went to the sneaker ball with my mommy and my brother. I got two awards and that's it.

Addy - I buy new shoes at shoes store. My new shoes light-up. I got Winter boots.

Jackson - I go to Milo's birthday party. I went to Alverthorpe park yesterday for the birthday party. I went to a Circus and they did flips.

Ellery - I play my cousin at my house. I play ball with Kate and Victoria and James. We play outside. I go for walk and eat cookies.

Shanaya - I had a barbecue at my house. I had a burger and a hot dog and chicken. I play with my toys and my brother.

Cooper - I go some place with my daddy. I play inside and outside with Lydia. Me and Lydia eat lunch outside. I watch show with my dad.

James V. - I didn't play with my neighbor next door neighbor. I play marble run with my mom. I put my lego furniture inside of my doll house.

Zoey - I go park with daddy. I do monkey bars. It was a big one and go down the slide. I eat pretzels. I play my toys.

Willow - I go to Boston and see my baby cousin. He so tiny and he don't cry so much.

Julian - I play outside with my brother. I mowed the grass at the front yard of my house. I play baseball with my brother. I went with my family to Peal and Japi's house to celebrate Japi's birthday.

Lydia - I had a snack before I went to the park. I play on the slide and go on the swings. I play with my toys. I eat dumplings for dinner and I eat like million.

Grant - I had Dunkin' Donuts. I go to Olive Garden but I didn't go inside. I play with my brother.

James M. - So, I went to Fishtown and I play on a playground. I went to a restaurant and I got a new toy monster truck. On Friday, I went to the Phillies game and they win. The Phillies win the series.

Tuesday

Today the Cardinals made predictions as to what they might see on our creek walk adventure.

Cooper - Lily pads

Ada - A giant crocodile, rocks, and tadpoles

Olivia - Bunnies

Zoey - Squirrels

Here are the things we saw on our creek walk: several butterflies, 5 frogs, lots of small fish and squirrels!

Such a fun time!!

Wednesday

The Cardinals continued to sound great as we rehearsed for our Spring Program!!

It was hilarious seeing the Cardinals dressed for wacky Wednesday and to hear their many conversations. People around school got a giggle from our wacky day.

We have two copies of the book Wacky Wednesday by Dr. Seuses and so, today two teachers read these books at the same time. The Cardinals thought this was so funny!

We made the day even wackier by have snack in our second grade buddies classroom without them. We were the second graders! Andrea and Tricia came to see what the new second graders students were doing today! As we got to our buddies classroom they had helped us out by putting up signs for us!! The Cardinals were in stitches about this!! First graders even came out their classroom to see what was going on!

Each chair had a picture of a Cardinal, so friends just find the chair with their picture and sat down! Thank you, second grade buddies for helping to make our wacky Wednesday WACKY...!!
